We provide a safe place where you can talk about anything you want to in confidence.
However, in some specific circumstances confidentiality may need to be broken
- If the listener has concerns about a child or young person or a vulnerable adult
- If the listener has your permission to break your confidence
- If the listener has concerns about you or a third party being in serious danger
- If legally required to do so.
If complete confidentiality cannot be maintained your listener will make every effort to inform you of their reasons and such decisions will also be discussed with the service manager to ensure that appropriate action is taken.
